Sinner or Sovereign?
Reframing the Bible by Changing Your POV
It was 2009, and we were making our way through the children’s illustrated edition of the Bible. I had saved the series of books for my kids. Now, that they were 6 and 4, I thought it was time to introduce them to the stories of the Bible.
As I was reading the story of Joshua and the Battle of Jericho, I was struck by the fact that the “promised land” the Israelites had waited 40 years to claim, was not a gift from the god of Abraham, Isaac & Jacob. No, it had to be taken by violent force by the military commander and successor to Moses. What kind of a “god” would command his “chosen” people to murder other neighboring nations, conquer Canaan and steal their land in order to occupy the territory that would become the Kingdom of Israel?
We didn't even get to the marching every day for a week or the sounding of the trumpets to make the walls fall down. I never read them a single page more of those books. Unlike me, my son and daughter are not well versed (religiously indoctrinated) in the “good” book.
It took me another few years to fully deprogram myself from my parent’s religion. My father was a seminary graduate and non-denominational ordained pastor. And my mom was a Baptist missionary kid to Japan. I was raised Christian and we studied the Bible as a subject every year in school, read the Bible several times through and memorized many Bible verses.
Since the completion of my deprogramming ten years ago, the Bible has become a historical and prophetic reference book. Even with all the translations, editions, official version and interpretations it’s still full of truths. But the truth of what? Our origins, the true history of this planet and its inhabitants? HIStory or the story of us?
It all depends on YOU! Are you reading it from the pov of a sinner or a sovereign being? Are you a beLIEver in original sin by virtue of your human condition? Or, are you a divine spark of Source currently embodying a human body? Do you have only one life to live that is punishable by eternal damnation unless you are saved and born again? Or, are you an eternal being who has always been and will always be? Do you need the amazing grace that “saved a wretch like me”? Or, do you have Christ consciousness within?
When you read the Bible from an awakened state, the “god” of the Old Testament and his misbehaviors can no longer be rationalized or explained away without sounding incredibly naive. It’s clear that the planet was hijacked and the natural evolution of humanity was interfered with, for better or for worse. The plural “gods” were indeed engaging in a star wars, fighting over the enslavement of humanity and the exploitation of Earth’s territory and natural resources.
The god, depicted in the Old Testament was an entity posing as the creator of the Universe. An easily enraged, vengeful and greedy being who demanded sacrifices and would wipe out entire cities, even the whole world when displeased with his creation. Someone to fear maybe, if you’re a pre-historic human, but nothing to worship and adore.
The entire Old Testament reads like a manual for slave owners. Because that’s what he was. Just an opportunistic invader, planet colonizer and plantation squatter who needed free labor to mine the gold, but a race of beings dumbed down enough to work “by the sweat of their brow” for basic survival and yet never intelligent or conscious enough to stand in their sovereignty and consent no more.
When you are sovereign, you have no gods and bow before no king. You can’t be enslaved. And you don’t need a savior.
“Original sin”, the “one and done” lie and the threat of hell is a control mechanism of the control system that is religion. Islam’s “convert or die” is honestly less severe than Christianity’s “be saved or burn in hell for eternity”. They just terrorize and kill you for not converting to their religion instead of the Christian scare tactic of damning your soul forever to the fiery pit.
The crucifix is a symbol of torturous death and satanic ritual human sacrifice. Only a sinner would cross themselves the way Catholics do, symbolically putting a hex on themselves. Only a sinner who thinks the son of god needs to be crucified and die for their sins would hang a metal chain around their neck, allowing a cross to rest over their higher self chakra.
The Bible is full of references to extraterrestrial invasion and interventions, genetic experiments and engineering, clones and hybrids, dragons and giants, gods and half-gods, planetary terraforming and global cataclysms, galactic arcs and pods, close encounters of the third (observations), fourth (abductions) and fifth (human initiated contact) kind, visions and visitations, in-vitro implantations (“immaculate conception”) and DNA modifications (“the fall of man”), holograms, force fields and transporter beams, space craft and advanced technologies. You just have to open your eyes. Read it from the pov of your True Self, not a puny human, brainwashed by organized religion.
Christians have been programmed by their mainstream, monotheistic religion to believe that the god of the Old Testament is their creator and the one true god and that humans are the only sentient and intelligent life form in the universe. Therefore, any supernatural being other than human must be a demon or an angel. And any interpretation outside of that narrow and egotistical world view is science fiction.
Some will be sinners, some will be “saved” and some will be sovereign. Each soul gets to choose their own adventure, but on a soul level we all know the truth. Some remember who they really are sooner than later. Some don’t wake up from their amnesia until after death and their sovereign soul is freed from the false beLIEfs of this world.

Pearls of Wisdom is a personal blog of the wisdom writings of Dara Eden that fall outside the realms of feng shui, The 8 Elements and her other personal energy work. Established in 2014, the blog is an expression of her highest values: Sovereignty, Truth, Wisdom & Inner Peace. It’s devoted to increasing awareness, expanding consciousness, bringing knowledge, sharing innerstandings and offering wisdom to the sovereign souls inhabiting the Earth.
Dara Eden is a writer and wisdom keepHER. The name, Dara, means “pearl of wisdom”. Pearls are formed when a microscopic irritant, like a grain of sand, embeds itself within the soft tissue of a shelled mollusk. To protect itself, the oyster or clam covers the invading gritty particle with concentric layers of iridescent crystalline calcium to form treasures, pearls of great beauty and worth. Gifts of the sea, pearls are the oldest known gem and the only gem that does not need to be cut, shaped or polished. Pearls are associated with elegance and luxury and are a symbol of mystery and purity. Pearls represent priceless knowledge, the rare wisdom that begins as a tiny, random, common irritant.
