All you Ask, Ask of You

What Would Dara Do?

Clients, and even friends, will tell me they often ask themselves, “What would Dara do?” They share that I am on their mind almost daily as they move through their life. And that the things I’ve told them or have shared through my sessions or writings remain present in their inner world as they think and make decisions.

I’ve also had clients ask me what I would do in their situation. To which I always answer, “What I would do is irrelevant”. Here’s why: I’m committed to honoring my needs and values. My needs and values may be different than my client’s needs and values. And they may not have the same degree of clarity or level of commitment to honoring themselves that I do.

Also, the situations my clients find themselves in are unique to their life path and the life lessons their soul is here to learn. So, it’s highly unlikely I would create the same situation in my own life. What I would do is therefore hypothetical and not influenced by the reality of experiencing real events and the feelings they would evoke.

Additionally, not only would I not be in their situation, but I don’t give advice. While I do include common sense, wisdom teachings and intuitive guidance, I only share knowledge and make recommendations based on their personal element’s energy. I don’t share what I would do or what I think they should do. Because what I think they should do is also irrelevant. And sharing my very strong opinions is almost always inappropriate.

Opinions are common. Everyone’s got them. Having interesting points of view doesn’t make them true or wise, relevant or relatable.

Wisdom is rare. And those who have wisdom seldom share it because true wisdom is knowing that for most people wisdom must be gained through experience. That each soul is one hundred percent responsible for what they choose to do and what they choose not to do. That saving people from making mistakes denies them the opportunity to learn from them. And trusting that the choices they make are perfect for their soul’s journey.

My coaching is not a series of one-size fits all general guidelines anyone and everyone will resonate with. The expert coaching I provide is specific to the current state of their personal energy, balance and wellbeing. Its presentation is customized for their element’s language, learning style and level of maturity. And it’s personalized for their current situation and intentions.

I’ve done this long enough to know that not everyone is self-aware or well-intentioned. Some people just want what they want regardless of the effect it might have on others. They just don’t care how their choices impact the lives of others or even their own futures.

When people ask themselves, “What would Jesus do?”, it’s a reminder to be love and show compassion. To love the Creator with all of their heart and soul, mind and strength. And to love their neighbor as themselves. To follow his example of having a personal relationship and communicating directly with the Source of All without any middlemen. Living a moral and virtuous life and modeling that for others. To do no harm and yet take no shit. And speak truth to power at every opportunity. To judge the sin and forgive the sinner. And seek the justice that restores souls and makes them whole.

But what I would do or Jesus would do or anyone else would do is irrelevant.

The better question for each person to ask is, “What would I do?” What would I do if I were fully committed to honoring my essential needs and highest values? What would I do if I listened to my own intuition, soul’s wisdom and body’s consciousness. What would I do if I asked my higher self for guidance and took the inspired action? What would I do if I loved myself and cared about the wellbeing of my future self?

Those are the questions worth asking. Of yourself.

All you ask, ask of you.

And to do that you must know yourself. Accept yourself. Respect yourself. Honor yourself. And love yourself enough to do what YOU would do!

Pearls of Wisdom is a personal blog of the wisdom writings of Dara Eden that fall outside the realms of feng shui, The 8 Elements and her other personal energy work. Established in 2014, the blog is an expression of her highest values: Sovereignty, Truth, Wisdom & Inner Peace. It’s devoted to increasing awareness, expanding consciousness, bringing knowledge, sharing innerstandings and offering wisdom to the sovereign souls inhabiting the Earth.

Dara Eden is a writer and wisdom keepHER. The name, Dara, means “pearl of wisdom”. Pearls are formed when a microscopic irritant, like a grain of sand, embeds itself within the soft tissue of a shelled mollusk. To protect itself, the oyster or clam covers the invading gritty particle with concentric layers of iridescent crystalline calcium to form treasures, pearls of great beauty and worth. Gifts of the sea, pearls are the oldest known gem and the only gem that does not need to be cut, shaped or polished. Pearls are associated with elegance and luxury and are a symbol of mystery and purity. Pearls represent priceless knowledge, the rare wisdom that begins as a tiny, random, common irritant.
