Spring Things

HR Blog - Spring Things

RITUAL: Making Lists | SEASON: Spring | ELEMENT: Wood

Growing up in the San Bernardino Mountains, one of our favorite Springtime activities was to go to the Daffodil Garden in Running Springs. A local resident, Gene Bauer planted almost a million daffodil bulbs in the hills behind her home. The day I gave birth to my daughter, Larissa, I walked through the cheerful Daffodil Garden to help get labor started after it had slowed down. And I took my children there every Spring until they closed it to visitors.
